It's great to have been selected for this years Portrait Salon. This competition is a 'Salon des Refusés' for the best portraits that have not been selected for the Taylor Wessing Prize.
Although my photograph 'Kids of Kolkata' was selected for this years Taylor Wessing prize LINK it's such an honour to have another image of mine that didn't make it selected for the Salon.
In my photograph a young child relaxes in the grass after a football training session in the humid heat of Kolkata.
